We have been so pleased with the progress our son has made!

Consulting

Consultation services consist of meeting with parents,
teachers, and anyone involved in your child's
educational program.  These meetings are specifically
designed to address the targets the team, as a whole,
has identified.  The frequency of meetings are
determined child-by-child.

Although face-to-face meetings are preferred, Behavior
Based Learning is able to consult through phone
conferencing and/or by viewing videotaped academic,
social, or other targeted areas.  Often, a videotape of a
specific goal area is requested even if consultation is
face-to-face.  This is beneficial for the consultant, as
well as the team, which may only see your child in
certain environments.

During the consultation, as mentioned anyone one
involved in your child's educational program is invited.
The format follows: introduction (if needed), listing (or
reviewing) general strengths and struggles, setting (or
review) of long-term goals, setting (or review) of steps
currently being targeted to reach the goals, additional
support suggestions, and finally parent/teacher/team
specific questions or concerns in relation to the
Behavior Based Learning program.
